Kim Lamb
is our new photographer for the
2012 CAPS Happy Endings Calendar!
Don’t wait to make your appointment with him. Make sure
that you are contacting the correct photographer; there is no
other CAPS Happy Endings Calendar but the one we are
producing in a partnership with Kim Lamb.

Call him at 217-9727 or email him at
lamb_10@charter.net.

We want ALL of your pets in the calendar, not just
the dogs and cats. Do you have a snake, spider, horse,
llama, pet rabbit, ferret, pet bull? Give Kim a call. He is open
to location shots at your home if necessary (the cat who
would normally cling to the ceiling in a portrait studio will be
much more comfortable in her own home).

There is no extra charge for Kim to come to your home
to take a  portrait of your pet; the same “sitting fee”
applies (one 15 pound bag or larger of dog or cat food—Nutro, Science Diet or Pro Plan
only.)

Raffle tickets are on sale for a living Christmas tree donated by
Flower Tree Nursery. This tree, a 15-gallon Oregon green pine (which

proceeds benefit CAPS. Tickets are available at Flower Tree Nursery
and through CAPS. The drawing will be held on December 18 at
Flower Tree Nursery.
New Arrivals at CAPS! Click here to go to the “Animals Available” page on our website.
The newest arrival is a litter of nine, yes nine, Australian shepard/Boxer mix puppies.
They were on their way to the pound but CAPS was able to take them in. Come meet
them and pick out  your favorite before they are all spoken for!
Fallon Animal Welfare Group (FAWG) is holding an adoption day
            Saturday, December 11, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
at Maggie’s Playhouse, 2000 Auction Rd. (right next to Mutts Etc.)
There will be lots of cats and kittens and a few very special dogs looking for forever homes.
All adoption fee donations go to support work of FAWG (rescue & fostering of shelter
animals, medical care of shelter animals, trap-neuter-return of feral cats.)
Ever wonder what CAPS is all about? Well, recently a volunteer
took some video of a typical morning in the kitchen at CAPS
showing just how special a place CAPS is; click
here to see the
adorable video. Click
here to go to these puppy's special page
on our website.
Seeing these sweet faces and knowing that CAPS is doing
everything in its power to find that forever loving home for them
just makes it all worthwhile. Some of these little guys have
already been adopted and just waiting for their spay/neuter to
go home.
These babies were brought in a few weeks ago by a person
who called Fallon Animal Control saying they had 9 unwanted
puppies. CAPS quickly leapt into action and brought them to
our shelter. This litter of 9 is made up of puppies that are either
Australian Shepard x Border Collie or Boxer x Border Collie.
If this is something you have a passion about and would like
to be part of it, give us a call. You can make donations for specific programs such as our
spay/neuter assistance programs, you can donate directly to the shelter or you can donate your time.
I don’t think you can put a price on how valuable your time is so you will have to
accept puppy kisses in lieu of pay!
Gucci is just one of 9
puppies that is out of the
cold and into the safety
and warmth of the CAPS
shelter.
